What to Expect

What can I expect during my first session?

Your initial session will run 90 minutes. During this time you will receive a thorough explanation of how hypnosis works to help you make positive changes in your life. At this time I take a brief personal medical history and we talk in depth about the issue or issues you'd like to resolve. In order for me to have a better idea of how to work with you, I also ask questions about your life.

We work together to come up with an individualized treatment plan. You will then experience how naturally and easily you can go into a deeply relaxed state of hypnosis. After the trance is complete, we talk about your experience, I give you feedback, and you can ask more questions.

Following trance, most of my clients feel an incredible sense of relaxation. They feel energized and refreshed. Some even say, after I bring them out of trance, that they liked the feeling so much that they want to stay in that state of relaxation.

How many sessions will I need?

I am often asked, "How many sessions will I need?" It depends on you, what you came to work on, and how responsive you are to hypnosis. Hypnotherapy can be one of the fastest and most effective therapies available to achieve changes in behavior, beliefs, and abilities, and it often takes just a few sessions to achieve remarkable results and deep healing.

I like to do the follow-up a week after your initial session. After that, we discuss how often I'd like to see you. I find it most beneficial to work with clients weekly. Follow-up sessions are one hour. We check in, review what worked, what didn't work (if anything), and then begin the trance for that session.

At some point in our work together, after I have a clearer picture of you, I custom-make a script specific to you and your issue. I record our session using our custom script, then burn it onto a CD for you to use at home.

Once you have learned how to relax your body and mind, and practiced going into this deeply relaxed state of hypnosis, the wonderful thing is you can do this for yourself! You can enter the deep state of relaxation at any time of your own choosing, allowing you to tap into your inner wisdom, and this can transform your life!
